Yasemin Aegaeis Vollmond ('87) is a classically trained pianist, composer, and sound ambient musician whose work operates at the intersection of acoustic physics, nervous system science, and performance.

She is the daughter of two visionary Turkish parents who cultivated in her both a deep musical sensibility and an entrepreneurial spirit from early on. Raised between cultures and shaped by a tradition of mystical Islam, she has carried these inheritances through studies and work across Istanbul, London, and Berlin.

Trained in classical music theory and piano from childhood, she later studied under a lineage of gong practitioners including Kay Karl, Jens Zygar, Mike Tamburo, Christophe Nédélec, and Max Palin. Alongside this, she developed her own production practice and originated Auditorivm, a structured solo performance format designed around the arc of nervous system regulation.

Her approach to the gong is musicological rather than therapeutic: each instrument is understood as an acoustic body with its own overtone spectrum and harmonic logic. Sessions are not always improvised but compositionally guided, drawing on the framework of the Cosmic Octave and the measurable relationship between sustained low-frequency sound and the parasympathetic nervous system.

As a certified breathwork instructor, she also integrates breath as a primary portal to peace, a physiological lever that alongside acoustic frequency accelerates states of deep rest and perceptual shift.

Yasemin has performed in spaces including Funkhaus, Metropol, Atemporal, Abby Mood, Clärchens Ballhaus, Kiezkapelle, Mahalla, and Quantum Gallery, and offers Gong trainings for practitioners and musicians.

Based in the in betweens, Berlin and Anatolia.
